I am planning to stay three days at Guilin and then take a train (12 hrs) to Guangzhou. I need advice of how to advance book 5 train tickets (soft beds type) from Guilin to Guangzhou. I heard that the soft beds are sold out very quick. Can someone also let me know of any city lounge that I can take shower or food before departing for the 9pm night train? Thanks.
I might be able to help you with pre-booking the train tickets. When are you travelling? If you want a shower before you go on the train, best would be to get a hotel near the train station and ask for the hourly or "short rest" rate, usually 3-5 hours. VTMail me if necessary.
