I will arrive at Baiyun International Airport on the 1st of July at 4h30 PM and I will spend 3 days in Guangzhou. Any advice about taxi choice and fare from airport to hotel on 53 Shamian North Street, Guangzhou?
was in Guangzhou last month, took the airport shuttle bus from airport to Garden Hotel (RMB 32 ), and then get a taxi to the Shamian Area, total cost around RMB 60 (under US$10). I guess, by distance, the taxi fare should be under 200 RBM.

Thanks So 200 RMB from airport to hotel? I will have an extra luggage with me, so I will have to stick to taxi.

Will it be difficult to board the bus with two suitcases, a large one and a medium one? Usually I carry only one luggage, but because I am going to see my son in Vancouver after Canton, so I am taking some of his stuff with me.

Just get a taxi if you have large luggage, taxi fare is pretty cheap in China, I used them a lot in Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou. I tavel on budget, but still affordable.

Im on the same flight as you lol, small world, I however have a 4. hour trip, would I still be allowed to exit the airport and shop a little?
