Driving time Guad to Phoenix Az

I am leaving Guad. on April 1. What is the driving time to Phoenix Az. I will be traveling thru Mazatlan. I would like to do it in two days if possible. Does anyone know of a good secure place to stay about half way there?

The Pacific way is really the best way in order to avoid the "Sierra Madre". You may look for a good Hotel near the border Sonora State/Sinaloa State.
