Has anyone used a group to white water raft on the Tuolomne River near Groveland? There are a number of companies that do this, has anyone got some good experiences to share? We are looking at doing the 1 day trip in the high waters in May. Woudl like to hear your thoughts! Thanks ,Karen
I'm also talking with some friends about rafting Tuolomne River in early summer, so i'm bookmarking this in case someone can give more useful info. I've used Whitewater Voyages on several trips down the American River outside of Sacramento and it was great. They have a great outfit, knowledgable river guides, and good food (i'm all about that). I've never rafted down Tuolomne before, but know someone who has with Whitewater Voyages and said the experience was very good. By the way, the high waters is running about 2800 cfs through the end of May in Tuolomne because of the record rain season this past winter. Makes for a lot of good Class IV+ rapids.
