Hi Im going on exchange to Grenoble for 6 months. Looking at accomodation options which mean I can enjoy a good social life in the city but also easily commute to Stendtahl uni. Any tramlines or particular stops/suburbs I can research for reasonable student accomodation with a good vibe (and safe to get to at night!) Cheers M:)

Loook at the Semitag website. You will get the map of the tram and busses lines. http://www.semitag.com/ Avoid south-west of Grenoble as it would not be very conveient for you. Eastern part of the city should be fine for Stendhal University + easy reach of city center. Dont hesitate to ask for more specific information. North west would not be too bad (railway station area)
