I am taking a cruise in March and Grenada is one of our ports of call. Has anybody been there after the hurricane in September 04 and if so, what is it like now? As far as I can tell, the cruise line is still including Grenada in our itinerary. I would like to still go and experience the beautiful island. If anything, to bring some badly needed income to their economy. Thanks!! Erik
I was there three weeks ago and had a wonderful experience. Although, I went to several Islands in the Caribbean, Grenada was my favorite. Be prepared to see a lot of poverty, but despite the aftermath of the Hurricane it is a must see place. I recommend taking a cab and have them take you to see some of the beutiful waterfalls.
