by TuTeS2011 Online Now Jun 25, 2012 at 3:39 PM

Hello tourists!! My Name is Matias. I'm 22 and I'm from Buenos Aires. When I finish to study, I'm planning to live in Greece. I hope can you help to decided where can I live, I know about some place but I'd like their opinion about some city. Also I'd like to know about the possibilities of labour, health and education, and also I would like to know how it is the security, policy and society...

hmmm, I don't really know how to begin; wondering if you are aware of the general current situation in Greece? so I Googled the 'Economic situation in Greece' and list a couple informative articles, as I sure don't think employment for a foreigner is a high probability. This first article is dated last Friday and reports on the COLLAPSED health care and that people in hospitals are working without pay: naturalnews.com/036257_Greec... frommers.com/articles/7360.h... Look at the graph part way down into this article: news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/business...

Your first question really should be "can I live in Greece" as immigration difficulties and the Schengen rules are often more of a problem than even politics. There is a very interesting book on kindle called the Aegean Dream which may be of considerable assistance in opening your eyes to some of the difficulties and pleasures.

Matias, it is important for you to get the correct information from an offical source. Go to the Greek Embassy in Buenos Aires for this. If you cannot qualify for a residency permit you will not be allowed to live in Greece. Greece Embassy , Argentina Arenales 1658 Cap. Federal 1061 Buenos Aires Argentina Phone: +54-11-48114811 +54-11-48110513 +54-11-48110768 +54-11-48111361 +54-11-48111815 Fax: +54-11-48162600 Email: gremb.bay@mfa.gr

At the time you were a child, but what's going on nowday is far worse than it was in Argentina on 2001. I hope they will arise soon but, imho, these days you could find a better place to live and more possibilities of labour in Chaco Province.... and you don't need to speak Greek.

I would choose Espania if I were in your place. You speak the same language and Spain will overcome this financial crisis sooner than greece...
