Would appreciate feedaback re Skellig boat trip. Has anybody done this and recommend it ?
Hi, I can really recommend going there on a trip! But you shouldn't take the boattrip around the islands offered at the "Skelligs experience" in Portmagee, it doesn't land on the islands. Instead, take one of the several trips offered in (for example) Ballinskelligs. The one I had (J.D. Walsh, if I'm not mistaken- I'll look at more names) also offers diving trips, if you are into that. It's a great place to visit, have a look at my Great Skelligs pages (and those made by Sabsi and Globetrott!) for some more impressions. Enjoy your visit, P.

If you do nothing else on your trip to Ireland make sure you do this trip.

Found some more details on the boattrips now, also on internet. I have added them in a transportation tip to my Skelligs page. You may also access some through www.sneem.com, or find them by using "Skelligs" in a search engine. Feel free to ask, if you want to have more background information! Good luck, P.
