Beach at North Point. Swimming is good ?

We plan to rent a condo at North point on April-May, but we have concerns about the beach and the water. Is the beach is littered of dead corals and seaweed ? The entrance to the water is littered of dead corals ? which means, we have to wear beach shoes ? is swimming is good ? lots of seaweed into the water ? The condo is located about 5 minutes south of Rum point.
