Antelope Canyon advice needed

I'm travelling to Arizona in June of 2004 (3 days in Tucson, 4 days in Phoenix. I'd like to visit Antelope Canyon for a day while I'm there. The drive looks awfully long from Phoenix. I'd be willing to take a one day r/t flight to a nearby airport, if there is one. I'm also interested in a one day tour into Antelope Canyon, if I am able to get there. If anyone can offer any information to educate me on these possibilities, I'd appreciate it. Thank you.

You can go anywhere at all in Arizona in a day... And probably make it back to Phoenix in time for dinner. Plot your course at mapquest.com and see what they peg your travel time and distance as.
