Does anyone have any experience visiting Gran, Oppland, Norway? I will be visiting this year and it's place where my family is from. We will be taking the train out from Oslo for a day trip. I see that the Nicolai and Maria Church is a worthy place to visit, but are their other places that are interesting to visit? Is there a museum in the area?

I heard of one of the Norwegian Kings that died and his body was divided into 4 pieces. I heard that one of the pieces was buried in the area of Gran Oppland. Does anyone know about this? I can't remember the name of the king.
