Good day, Can you please tell me if the Grabouw Restaurant in Pineview still exist?, i am trying to find the owner who had it in the 1960's, or can u refer me to someone who can provide me with that type of information.
I spent a large part of my life across the mountain in the Strand and I was never aware of any restaurants in Grabouw...except for the latish arrivals of the "farm stalls" neat the N2 and the country club at the lake. I am actually surprised to hear that the Pineview suburb had a restaurant at all. If you are a former resident of Grabouw, and havn't been there for 15 to 20 years, you will be saddened by the state it is in today.

Hi, the "Grabouw Restaurant" had been there during the 60's, it was near the Palmietriver,...trying to locate someone who worked there before, he was Portugeuse.,...i have not been to Grabouw in almost 15years, sorry to hear about the state of affairs, was such a beautiful place. I think that restaurant was also owned by Portugeuse. Thanks for your reply
