I believe there are some along the cliffs around Dwejra and near Qala. Maltese limestone quarries tend to be deep rather than extensive in width. This page has info and pictures (scroll right down to 'Gozo Quarries', click on a link for Gozo map): http://www.gozo.us/

You do realise you wil not necessarily be able to enter? Working quarries are just that...working, and not open to all. Closed quarries will probably be closed off for safety reasons. But you should be able to see at least something from the roadside/fence.

Hi, I just happened to see your question. I don't know if you've already come and gone but in case you're still coming... Will you be staying in Gozo all the time? If you're going to be in Malta and have some time to spare, you could visit the Limestone Heritage in Siggiewi, which is an old quarry converted into a museum with exhibitions of tools used over the years, stoneworks, and so on. I think it could interest you. Personally I've been there twice and really liked it - and my dad who's a construction worker enjoyed it too. Quarries are quite dangerous sites so I don't know if you'll be able to enter. Most probably as Leics told you you'll be able to see something from outside though. Gozo is magnificent. Some Quarries that you find in Gozo are at San Lawrenz and Qala that are most popular.
