Hi everyone. Though I have been to Goa before with my friends, I want to go there once again in October this year. I have planned my trip for around 12 days - I just wanted a big break from my daily hectic schedule that is taking a toll on me :) I plan to do some good photography, I would like to meet some strangers, I plan to get drunk - and basically, I just want some time off. Well, my budget will be somewhere around 25000-30000 INR - I don't wish to spend that much on accommodation. Anyone here who can help me out on my trip - like where to stay, what to do, where to go...

I'm travelling with my 3 friends this coming december. I have heard about the sunburn festival ... but i dont know when exactly it will start and the location as well . SO please can anyone tell me where can i get all the updates about this fest ??? And also which is the best most popular place for youngsters who likes to party and all ?? I wanna go to GOA in around July second week for 2/3 day vacation.... howz the wheather during that time? is it very hot and humid and not enjoyable? is it crowded during that time? Any suggestions where to stay ?

Hi there I will be in goa sometime in december for about 10 days. i want to stay in baga for a while as it looks good but also want to see other areas. do you think i should wait until i am there before i get accomodation as it seems quite cheap and i am not really on a tight budget. obviously i would like it as cheap as possible and will be looking for a good guest house or basic hotel. also would like to party but not bothered about nightclubs any more would prefer bars that open late. thanks in advance

I am travelling to Goa on 1st December 2012 for 4 months and would like to volunteer my services as a qualified nurse in a hospice/hospital/charity?! Anybody know of any worthwhile causes that would welcome volunteers?

We are 5-6 guys(across India) travelling to Goa between April 28 to May 2, 2012. We intend staying around Anjuna Few questions : What are the clubs(except the expensive Titos, Mambo's or Capetown) open around Anjuna are end of this month? Is Club Paradiso and or Club Cubana open these days? Have things changed with the BJP govt? Any rave parties happening end of this month or how does one get to know of any(if any happening) ? hello, i willl be in india for 4 weeks from october the 11th to november 8th 2012, traveling all around india visting many parts of the country, During the last week i will be staying at a hotel on colva beach goa. my flight home leaves at 07.10 am from goa airport, so i would probley need to be there at least a couple of hours before. what would be the best way to get to the airport, can any one recommend a taxi service or shuttle bus ? and how much would it cost?

Hi, It will be my first time visiting Goa in April and Im staying in Candolim. I just want to make sure that the resort will still be open and neighbouring beaches and markets will still be functioning as Im aware that monsoon season is May. HI THERE, MY WIFE AND I ARE DUE TO GO TO GOA NEXT WEEK FOR THREE WEEKS, I HAVE HEARD THAT FOR SOME STUPID REASON OF WHICH I AM NOT SURE, THE BARS ARE ALL SHUTTING AT 10PM, WHY IS THIS THE CASE, AND SURELY TO GOD THEY CAN NOT DO THIS AS I UNDERSTAND IT IS SOMETHING TO DO WITH THE ELECTIONS, WELL I AM ENGLISH AND WILL NOT BE VOTING SO WHY SHOULD THIS HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH ME OR IN FACT ANY OTHER PEOPLE OTHER THAN LOCALS. I ALSO HEAR THAT ALL IS SHUTTING, FOOD ETC, FOR A START OFF THE FOOTBALL BACK HOME WILL NOT FINISH BY 10PM, THERE WILL BE A LOT OF UNHAPPY PEOPLE INCLUDING MYSELF IF THEY TURN THE FOOTBALL OFF BEFORE IT FINISHES, THIS IS ACTUALLY THE MOST RIDICULOUS THING THAT I HAVE EVER HEARD, IF THIS IS THE CASE I WILL NOT BE GOING BACK TO GOA AGAIN, AS THIS HAS COST ME A LOT OF MONEY, I WILL GO ELSEWHERE. Hello every body! I will be visiting Goa between Feb 18 - 25, 2012. The Goa Carnival takes place during this time and usually there is a lot going on in Goa at this time.. I love chilling out on Goa beaches, riding around exploring on scooter, partying 'n dancing etc.. I live and work in Dubai and will fly into India on the 17th.. Hi. Just returned from Goa last week and planning on returning in about 10 months time. Im a staff nurse and wanting to do some volunteer work when Im in Goa and wondering if anyone knows any charities/hospitals/hospices that need volunteers? Also looking for a cheap and cheerfull 2 bed appartment to rent for 3 months in calangute region? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Cheers :-)

hellooo guyz... we 6 people will be in goa from 5th to 10th feb.. v hav around 70-80k budget(total, excluding tickets).. v personally want to explore the whole goa...goa beaches,clubs, rave parties...everything..how about renting a car.?? or bike will be best.?? what about the accommodation,meals..??? if needed v can olso increase our budget... but v need this trip to be the best 1....

THERE ARE FOUR OF US SO MAYBE WILL NEED A MINIBUS OR SIMILAR. ALSO WHAT IS THE PRICE OF THINGS NOWADAYS, A BEER, AND MEALS, AND THE COST OF HIRING A 50CC MOTORBIKE FOR THE DAY. Hey, I will be in Goa on these dates, though I have still not finalized accommodation. Personally, I'm interested in staying in Bardez (Anjuna / Vagator). However, I'm open in staying elsewhere. If anyone (Indians | Expats | Males | Females) wants to share accommodation "and|or" explore the city together, kindly drop a line. I guess, a few exchange of 'emails or chat' before the trip should enable us to know, if we can potentially form a nice group to hangout. I have been there before when I was in graduate school, so I have a pretty fair idea of what to expect. Even if you are not in Goa for the entire date range that I'm, we could still plan accordingly. i have visited goa once, before. but this time i specially want to experience the rave parties i heard of so much. landing on 29th dec, will be there till 1st. does anyone know about any event, rave party goin on during that time? also i wud like reviews on hilltop disco. what are the best places to drop in for new year eve party @ goa?
