I'm travelling with my 3 friends this coming december. I have heard about the sunburn festival ... but i dont know when exactly it will start and the location as well . SO please can anyone tell me where can i get all the updates about this fest ??? And also which is the best most popular place for youngsters who likes to party and all ?? And also the accomodation ... where do u think we shall stay ?? Safe hotel ??
Sunburn Festival this year will be 27-29 December at Candolim Beach, not only music, but food,, shopping and other entertainment will be on offer. You must be 18 yrs old to attend. There is a huge open disco where you can go crazy, and parties up and down the beaches. There is plenty of accommodation all over Goa but it can be pretty crowded around xmas and New Year with many Indian visitors. Perhaps someone else will be able to give you ideas for guest house/hotel and place for you to party as it has been quite a while since i have been there, but i will say the beach is wonderful. Candolim is 15 kms north of Panjim, the capital. Hope this is helpful to you.

Hi - a great site to get all the party info is What's Up Goa (http://www.whatsupgoa.com/). You can also find accommodation info there as well. Another good site for accommodations is hotels.com. The site lets you sort by location, price range, etc. I'd definitely recommend staying in North Goa (that's where all the action is!) - Baga is probably best for you, then Calangute, then Candolim. That's a great time to be in Goa but also very busy so be sure to sort out your transportation to Goa well in advance. Have a great time!

I am from Goa.. sunburn is not happening in Goa this year. They have moved the venue to Mumbai. http://sunburn.in/mumbai2012/. Candolim, Calangute, Anjuna, Morjim ...most beaches in the North of Goa have alot happening in December. However, travelling or staying anyway close to the beach is a nightmare as traffic is at a stand during the Christmas week. Stay away from the beaches, and just rent a bike to your party destination. The link you have given is for Sunburn festival in Mumbai,which is a different festival to the one held in Goa.Sunburn is in Goa this year 2012 and they have actualy extended the days in which it will be held. John

SUN Burn is there in GOA This year..u have given link of promo,that had happened in mumbai. But sunburn is too costly.. dont go to baga..as it will be full of crowd due to peak season..so better to go to vagator,arambol,even anjuna, where u can find long parties till morning 8..BOOmBOOm BOOOm..less costly,more fun,less crowd..enjoy!!!! have a nice trip..
