Have always loved visiting the Cotswolds and now that my husband and I are retired was wondering if there is a possibility of house sitting somewhere in that beautiful area. Was thinking around April to August as a possibility for a period of 3 to 6 weeks. Are there reputable websites in the UK for this sort of thing? We are from Australia so any info at all will be great. Would love to "live like a local" as part of a larger holiday. Thanks, Norah
I suspect that reputable house-sitting agencies would not consider employing someone from abroad as part of their holiday. You might, however, consider house-swapping as well as rentals. http://www.4homex.com/uk.htm http://www.intervac.co.uk/ Google will throw up more.
