We will be arriving at Bergamo airport in a few weeks and wish to buy two of the 7 day IVOL tickets for €41.10 each.
Please can anyone tell me:
1. Can the tickets be bought at the airport?
I know I can get them in Bergamo at the SAB offices or the train station but wondered if they could be obtained at the airport tourist information desk or automated ticket machines.
2. Are the tickets valid for the #1 bus from the Airport into Bergamo?
I know the tickets are not valid for the airport to Milan shuttle buses. I also know the tickets are not valid for the Malpensa train to Malpensa airport but cannot find any exclusions relating to Bergamo urban buses.
3. If I manage to get the IVOL tickets at the airport then do I need to buy a €2.10 ticket for a large suitcase when using the #1 bus into Bergamo?
This would be the case if I were buying €2.10 timed tickets but is included when purchasing ATB 24 of 72 hour tickets. I cannot find any info regarding the situation with the IVOL ticket.
I'm looking for a place to go with my family of 8 for dinner near the Vatican. Definitely want good food. Not too concerned about price. Would love if there was something kind of special about the place like free wine with dinner, music, etc.
I served on the USS Little Rock between 1968 and 1970. The ship at that time was also the flag ship of th sixth fleet. After all these years my wife and I plan to visit Gaeta for one day in a couple of weeks. Anyone currently affiliated , with the US Navy, can supply the following: if we can visit the current flag ship? Can we visit the Navy Community Center and the location please.
What is the best way to get from Perugia to the Park? Trains go through Rome, making it at least a 6 hour trip when it should only be 3! I don't have a car, but I'm hoping there are buses? Maybe from the south of Umbria, like Terni?
We are planning to spend a day in Pitigliano. Are there other interesting towns nearby that we can reach by public transport? Would you spend the night in Pitigliano or Grosseta?
Hi, I will be travelling to Mestre on 1st March with a child & baby. We're flying into Marco Polo airport & staying beside piazza ferretto. How close to Mestre train station is this? We plan to get the flybus from the airport and from what I can make out it stops here. Alternatively is there a train from the airport or how much should we expect to pay for a taxi? Thank you in advance for any advise you can offer...
We are 1 adult and 2 children 8/11 - does anyone want´s to share transport to Livigno?
I am planning on traveling to Rome next month and will stay at Via Veneto. I was wondering if there are any cool nightclubs nearby with reasonable prices and a nice atmosphere. We are planning on going out on a Thursday evening but I'm not sure if this is considered a "going out" night in Rome or not.
Thanks in advance for all your suggestions!
I'm looking for appartments to rent somewhere San Gregorio, Gallipoli etc. And there are some interesting offers but without private parking. The owner persyades me that there will be no problem to find a parking place nearby. They offer 20 euro per week permission to park at all parkings. Is it true? Is it easy to find a slot to park? Because I remember the way we were looking for parking place in Pescara when our hotel parking was full.
