Crossing on foot?

by chrisdScotland Online Now Jun 8, 2011 at 2:23 AM

I know this sounds a silly thing to ask but you can walk from Springfield Quay to the SECC, over the bridge, on foot can't you? I know you can cycle over the bridge from looking at google maps but can't tell if there is pavement all the way over too.

    :-) very good.
Not a silly question though, there are plenty of bridges you can't cross on foot.
Hope you have a plesant crossing.

We are staying at the Etap overnight and hope it's safe enough to walk back there from the SECC, after the Elton John concert, on Friday night. (?) Along Govan Road or via the more residential paths nearer to the Clyde.

It`s not too long a walk and quite a lot of Southsiders park near Govan Road and walk across the Arch bridge. Have a braw night! :-)

Excuse me, has this already happened? :-) I had tickets for last Thursday for Journey, Foreigner and Styx and I only remembered about it at the last minute. Great night out! :-)

Yes it has but thanks for the info all the same. Didn't get to take my camera into the concert, as the lens was removable, so I took plenty of 'night shots' on the walk back along the Clyde. i.e. the walk back took much longer than the walk there!!!

That`s a shame about not being allowed to take pictures. That place has quite a few weird rules. :-)
