we 4 of us have two days in the city before flying out to tenerife+ tickets to a concert in the clyde auditorium for a concert. where do you suggest we stay?We ideally want a quiet place near the exhibition place but £ is a big consideration as we want it for porto de la cruz
Read my review of Rucksacks ,really enjoyed myself there but it is walkable to exhibition centre 6-8 mins,as it is to most of the main sights of the city which tend to be centred round Kelvingrove park area. Coming into central or Queen st. your ticket is valid for the local journey to Charing cross station. This is a 2min.walk to the hostel. The dorms are spacious and hold only 8 people so you are not sardinised and the internet is free. I do not think you will get better in any scottish city. Also taxi from their door to airport is just £11.50, much cheaper than public transport for 4 Enjoy Teneriffe.

£50? That`s a good guess about the cost. I stay in Old Kilpatrick, just over the Erskine bridge and it`s over £20.... more
