I don`t suppose this is very strange but when I`m on the subway I seem to forget where the train is after 3 or 4 stops. It`s probably the lack of landmarks that causes this For example: on at Partick and after Kelvinbridge for a moment I can lose track of where the train is. Also, I used to work at James Howden in Scotland Street and there was an underground storage tunnel that joined up with the subway between the Shields Road and West Street stations. You could hearn the trains go by and the same smell was there too.
