Cheap hostel in central Girona?

Hi I'm gonna go Interrailing around Europe in March. I'm planning to go to Girona for a couple of days as my girlfriend and I will go to live there from September and till the end of 2012 as she will be studying there. Does anyone have a tip for a cheap hostel or something like that in central Girona? I will only have one full day there at this point, so what are the most important things to do/see? And.. what would the weather be like in March, temperature wise? Best regards! Brian
