Me and 3 lads have booked lloret for 4 nights at the start of October, a lot of people have said it will be very quite and not a lot of bars open and rather cold/rainy weather. Any one no otherwise?
Also is the jetski and quad rental?
Thanks in advance
hi, just looking for things to do in Barcelona, like good food places, nights out, when to go out, things to do for the younger generations or even possible guides when we're there
any help appreciated!
My parents and I are spending 2 weeks in Salou at the beginning of September. I'm asking for any information on what to do, places which are in walking distance, shopping, markets, using public transport, local attractions etc. And also if anybody can speak from personal experience of organised trips - good value? Informative? Fun? Good experience?
We are going half board so not that bothered about restaurants as we'll only be snacking at lunch. Also, we're planning on a visit to Barcelona (My Dad and I want to tour the Nou Camp!) and I want my Mum & Dad to experience the fountains at the Palace and Park Guell!
Thanking you in advance,
Can I use a T10 card from the Airport to the city
We will be there from aug 16 to aug 23. Must be clean, spacious for 2 adults and 2 kids and luggage. Windows. Waking distance to las ramblas approx 1 km. pool would be great .clean linens
we are staying at the Travel lodge in Poblenou Hotel , however we need to print onward tickets of for our journey we are traveling with vueling.com , we just require a internet cafe nearby please can anyone advise on this thanks , we have visited just recently and the local people were extremely friendly and polite we athnk you in advance for any help
I ordered tickets online for this museum. I received a Proof of Purchase stating that I would receive a purchase confirmation via email. I ordered them on July 21st and have not received the confirmation. I emailed the visitor services twice at firstname.lastname@example.org but have not received an answer. Will I be able to enter the museum with the Proof of Purchase? My son and I are leaving the States on Monday, August 10th, for Barcelona. We are very excited about visiting Barcelona. Thanks...............
We now have our artmuseum voucher for our trip in the second week of October. At this time, we imagine the crowds will be smaller than in the peak summertime period. As we sort of hate being tied to specific times being freelance travellers, the question is whether we should still purchase timed tickets for the major attractions that sell them online, such as
catalan music museum
or will the lines for admission be short enough in October that we can get away just showing up without reservations.
are there any " best times " during the day to visit these.
and do you recommend for any of these getting private guides so we get a better experience.
we are progressing, with all you help. Appreciate.
hoping to visit both sites on a monday in early october when museums are closed, with a stop at hospital de san pau between or after seeing both. assuming i can get into the church with a 0930 time frame, how much time should i allow before the timed admission to the park visiting the hospital either between or after both.
i assume there are audio guides available or should we acquire a private guide ( no tours ). we tend to visit sites in considerable detail, not just in and out - would appreciate a rough estimate of how long each requires to be appreciated properly.
between the two, a taxi. are taxis available at the hospital or will we have to walk back to the church.
looks like this is our best choice rather than the barcelona card, at least for us, teamed with a 10 pack for the subway. a few questions -
as i understand it, with this pass we can get in any time desired without waiting on line, and can return to a museum a second day if we wish.
are there special direction signs, entrances, or desks for those with the pass or does one just walk to the head of the line and cut in front of everyone who has been waiting for hours. and do they become unpleasant.
We have most of the touristy activities scheduled, but we would like to spend a day exploring other ideas. Any suggestions about places that the locals visit? Thanks
Myself and my boyfriend stepped onto Barcelona beach today, and less than a minute later a man approached us and started shouting in broken English that he was police. He was not in uniform. I had heard of similar scams so I said l didn't believe him. He proceeded to hit me on the arm, brandish a gun contained in his waistband and scream that I was stupid. My boyfriend asked what we had done and at this point he hit me in the neck and escorted us off the beach, towards what appeared to be a genuine police station (very near placa de Burgada). In this station, I was further threatened by the shouting man, whilst a man in police uniform searched my boyfriends bag (the only 'valuable' being my pretty much empty purse). They didn't take anything, then they pushed us out as quickly as they pushed us in. I was wondering if anybody is aware that this is a scam or if the first police man was genuine but totally out of control? Either way I would like to do something about it due to the violence. Thanks.
