I am looking for a good place to find some snow to look at and walk through - I am not interested in winter sports, just winter sightseeing. Northern Gifu-ken might be a bit far away - does anyone now of a good place to go in southern Gifu-ken?
How about Sekigahara? Very cold and snowy town!!! Therefore Shinkansen (bullet) trains are sometimes delayed. There is a theme park named "Warland". You can imagine ancient Samurai battle in the snowfield. (Re: samurai battle --> en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle... Protect against the cold and have a fun.
