Visit Spain for one day trip

Hi everybody, I'll visit both of London and Gibraltar next week , I have some questions , I wish if I can find a help : 1- As I'm Egyptian , I got UK visa which will give me the ability to visit both UK and Gibraltar , but I wish to visit Spain too for just one day trip from Gibraltar , Is the Schengen visa required ? or just I can pass and back agian to Gibraltar? 2- Any suggestion for a good budget accomedation in both of London and Gibraltar? Thank you in advance
