I will also be around for only one day in February arriving at 3 pm and taking a flight back home at 4 pm the next day. I would add the following questions: 1. Since I will come from Sylacauga, AL, is there any better or special place to spend the day other than Atlanta? 2. How is the Lithia Springs/Six Flags neighborhood? I have a good deal at a hotel in that area. Is it nice? Commercial or Residencial? 3. Does it make sense to stay at the Marriott within Stone Mountain Park to spend the rest of the afternoon, night and one morning? Hope to hear from you guys. Thanks in advance.
I spent a year in Atlanta as an exchange student and I loved this place, here are my favorite things to do there, decide yourself what you wanna choose: Atlanta zoo Coke museum CNN tour Georgia State Capitol Centinnel Olimpic Park Fox Theater Atlanta Underground if you want to spend a day in a different place, I would say Stone Mountain, but I still prefer Atlanta
