I was in Gennep with my Daughter in 2006, and since I am a labyrinth enthusiast she took me to a church, an old church with a wonderfully painted interior.. outside the church on a pillar is a labyrinth about 24" in diameter, on a pillar. What is the name of the church? What is its address, I know that we went thru the shopping area, and it is an historic square, but did not get enough information. Do you know if the labyrinth has been there for as long as the church? If not, do you know when it was added. It was such a beautiful place and I want to share some information about it with freinds. Thanks...Bonnie
Hi, What exactly do you mean with labyrinth? Maybe this google search helps (Gennep kerk = Gennep church): google.nl/#hl=nl&biw=2112&bi... Otherwise you can use google maps and look for Gennep. Maybe you can identify the church using the street-level view? Cheers, Dennis

I apologize... I talked to my daughter,(who lived in the Netherlands in 2006) and my pictures are named incorrectly. The location is actually Kevelaer, in Germany. Thank you for attempting to answer my question that could not be answered, because I had the wrong town.

Hahaha... Meanwhile I learned what a labyrinth in a church symbolizes, so your post was very educational :-) Did you find the right church in Germany???

Yes.. the link you gave shows a picture, almost exactly like mine. There is a chapel (the Sakramentskappel) to your left when taking this picture. and the Labyrinth is just beside a side entrance to St. Mary's Basilica. Thanks... Bonnie.
