2 days in Geneva, recommend CHEAP place please!!!

Hi all, let me say this first; this forum is making my travel great ! Q--> I am going to geneva from milan with train on 30th of May. i have to stay one night in Geneva because i have the flight on 31st of May, 6 pm. but when i search for hostels they are not available, so i have just the option of hotels. Could you please recommend near cities or town in the region, which i can find cheaper accommodation?
