New Year's Eve in Geneve

Hello, Myself and my girlfriend are spending New Year's Eve in Geneve, I know that some concerts and events will be held in the Old Town but is there usually anything happening around Lac Leman? Fireworks, parade, anything like that? Thanks for any replies, David
