I am flying from the US and will be arriving in Manila..then to General Santos. I will be in the Philippines for 21 days then return.Do I or do i not definetly need shots and if so what kind. are the shots just recommended if needed or do I definetly need them.
If you'll just be in and around Manila and Gen. Santos, then no shots are needed. What you need to be careful about is the water you drink, so be sure to drink only bottled or mineral water.

Perhaps those sites were just playing safe in case you ventured into those places that might have malaria or what. But your query was specific as to your city of destination so the need for vaccination can be specific as well.
