HI NEXT YEAR WE ARE VISITING NORWAY FOR THE FIRST TIME WE ARE STARTING IN BERGEN BUT WANT TO VISIT GEIRANGERFJORD CAN WE GET A TRAIN OR BUS FROM BERGEN TO GEIRANGER I BEIIVE IT IS ABOUT 6HR TRIP SO WOULD PROBERLY NEED TO BOOK ONE NIGHT IN GEIRANGER ALSO CAN WE TAKE A DAY TRIP ON THE GEIRANGER FJORD ARE THERE DAILY BOAT TRIPS

There is no railway line on the west coast of Norway so you will have to take a bus or buses (you may have to change buses). You could also take a bus to Hellesylt and make the rest of the trip by ferry or boat but you'd better check the times of boat departures. Yes, there are daily round trips on the fjord. Check the times of the bus ride and the boat trips or you may have to spend two nights at Geiranger. We made the trip by car by it was much longer than 6 hours.
