Going on a road trip from Miami Fl ... PLease help

Hi every1 We are planing a trip to on this winter around middle December. My husband bigest interest is to see snow as he has been living on tropic all his life . By what I see Tennessee ( Gatlinburg ) doesnt get lots of snow on the winter season unless you are in higher elevations . I found a cabin ( bear cub) which is located on 2700 ft ( by google earth ) . Do you think we will have plenty snow at that elevation ? Do you know any higher elevation cabin or any advise .... cause we are going for just 4 days we had not time to spear for a weather to change and get a snow storm.... Please any advise will be appreciate
