Have you ever been to the village Ganvié in benin? what image do you have on it ?
I went to Ganvié in 2005 and quite enjoyed it, although it did seem to start becoming a "tourist trap". The boat trip across the lagoon is interesting but once in the village the boats take you to one or the other of the souvenir shops !!!!! Plenty of photo ops though, from the boat. Try and group with others at the landing stage when going. A group of 4 or 6 pays proportionately less than if you're on your own, as the trip is paid per boat and not per person.
