Hi Can anyone advise me on the most economical transport from Galway to Castlebar, how often buses run and what the cost would be for a single ticket hopefully tomorrow. Also what sort of weather would I expect in Castlebar and how does it compare to Cork weatherwise Thanks for all the help to me so far as I backpack through beautiful Ireland. Cheers Brendan
You can find bus times on buseireann.ie/inner.php?id=2... Buses 52 and 456 run between Galway and Castlebar. Click the route number on the above link and you will get timetables. Journey time is around 1h 40m on the 52. The farefinder on busfare.co.uk/cgi-bin/Eirean... gives me an adult one-way fare of 16.50 euro for the 456. With regard to the weather I suggest you look at the forecast here: local.msn.com/worldweather.a... and here, for Cork: No-one can accurately predict the weather in the UK and Ireland (within each day as well as from day to day), so a even local's guess will be no better than the forecast on such sites! :-) news.bbc.co.uk/weather/forec...

As a local (ish) I predict the weather tomorrow will be much as today, what I call rainbow weather fairly clear bright sky's with the odd heavy shower and that wind blowing from the Atlantic has a cold edge.
