Take the S-Bahn (S1 or S8) from the airport terminal to the Hauptbahnhof (main train station), downtown Munich, where you can connect to the Deutsche Bahn system. It takes about 40 or 45 minutes get there, depending on which train you take.

You posted this in the Fuerth im Wald Forum, so I assume you want to get to and from this border town. It's probably best to use Bus 635 from the airport to Freising, then transfer to the ALEX train to Fuerth im Wald. See reiseauskunft.bahn.de/bin/qu... for more exact timetable information.

Munich International Airport (MUC) is only connected by suburban S-Bahn trains with Munich. Thus not much choice.

When traveling from Munich Airport north or east bound the best option is - as already mentionened - to take the bus #635 to Fresing train station and proceed from there by train.

    DB timetable

    reiseauskunft.bahn.de/bin/qu...

    Start: MUC

Best deal e.g. to Furth im Wald is a Bayern Ticket. This ticket covers all regaional trains in Bavaria. But also e.g. the #635 bus to Freising. Select as means of transport "only local transport" if you want to travel on a Bayern Ticket.
