Will be arriving at Madeira airport on 4 October before noon. What are the options of getting to the Lido area by public transportation? The Dorisol Hotels have a free shuttle service to the city. I'm wondering if I and my suitcase could get to one of these hotels from the city? I would stay at one of these hotels. Should I stay in the city and bus to the ocean area? Also wondering if the Lido area will be deserted,at this time of year? Obligado.
There is an Aerobus which leaves the Airport frequently from outside arrivals and goes near the Dorisol Hotels. The cost is €5 per person each way.Tell the driver the name of your hotel and he will get as close as he can. Madeira is an All round resort so it will definately not be deserted.
