hello all, trying to find out the best (meaning most inexpensive) way to get from fukuoka to hiroshima. arriving at fukuoka airport on a saturday afternoon, if that makes a difference. thank you in advance! MAVL

thanks a lot for that lead. i've been checking that site out and also hyperdia. is it possible to buy tickets online ahead of the day of travel? or are tickets only available at train stations? i can't seem to find the online booking pages.

Hello.I live in Fukuoka. I think it's easy and convenient for you to buy Shinkansen(bullet train)Nozomi chicket at Hakata station. Hakata station in Fukuoka city is very near the Fukuoka Airport.It's very convinient to take subway.Hakata Station is the second station in the subway from the airport.It takes only 10 minutes. It takes about 1 hour from Hakata station to Hiroshima station. It costs you about 4940 yen(about US$60) in one way.
