Last minute planning and contemplating taking a short trip to Fukuoka for New Years. Putting the tourist spots to the side as well as the red lights of Nakasu, would anyone recommend spending NY eve in Fukuoka?
Hi Dave I don’t know what you like and when you will come and back, but I will make some recommendations; NY Count down event held on Dec 31 at Space World http://www.spaceworld.co.jp/ in Kitakyushu-city near Fukuoka. And then travel around Fukuoka-city such as Tenjin, Canal-city Hakata and Nakasu as well. If you want see Japanese festival, Tamaseseri kyushu-tourist.com/tamaseser... is held at Hakozaki Shrine on Jan. 03.
