I'd like to know if Maupiti express is still working in June From Bora Bora to Maupiti. Is it an hard navigation? Better to fly. Is it other ferry available? thanks

The passage in Maupiti is really rough but June isn't too bad weather-wise - normally. During my stay in Maupiti (next to the passage) I have made the experience that the sea and the crossing is much smoother in the morning (so at least the timetable of the Maupiti Express is good) than later in the day. In the afternoon usually the wind picked up, the water was rather choppy and lagoon crossings became quite shaky. As you are transferred to the airport by boat and water can splash over you and your luggage get dressed accordingly if you decide to fly. When I was there last year I flew from BB to Maupiti and found Maupiti's runway very exciting and the airport rather unique. I think the Maupiti Express did not run at the time due to repairs or whatever.
