    • Looking for a guide in Baltimore / ' The Wire Tour'

      Baltimore May 3, 2015 at 6:19 AM

      Hello there,

I'm planning my trip to Baltimore and I have read about a self-guided The Wire tour. But, i would like a tour like this with a guide, since i'm traveling alone and never been in Baltimore before. Does anyone know where to find a guide?

      Greetings from Amsterdam,
      Juliska

Friends are going to Baltimore for the first time at the end of June. What would you recommend for a fun 3 to 5 day tour of Baltimore? They love learning, history, the arts, great food, and festivals! Thank you for any recommendations!

      St. Michaels or Cambridge?

      Maryland May 2, 2015 at 6:46 AM

I'm trying to decide between these two for a weekend getaway in June. They seem pretty similar, and are more or less the same distance from my house. We're interested in biking around pretty places and wildlife areas, sitting around relaxing with a picnic and/or a beer, eating crabs and other locally/culturally appropriate foods, etc. Is one place materially different from the other for any reason? (Traffic, cost, availability of restaurants, etc.) Thanks!

Crafts shops and stamping/heat embossing classes

by Jackiekg Online Now Sep 14, 2008 at 12:44 PM

Hi, I hope to visit near Frederick during the month of November - I love crafts (I make greeting cards) and would like to know of good craft shops in the area and if there are classes on stamping/heat embossing. I do this quite often, even teach it, but I have never seen anyone, excpt on TV, do this, so I'd love to take part in a class. Any info will be greatly appreciated.
