Frankfurt Hahn airport - 24 hr. layover

We will arrive at the Hahn airport in the late morning, and leave late morning of the next day. We would love to stay in a smaller town close by. I saw Bernkastel-kues was close, but the bus doesn't leave the airport until late afternoon. Any suggestions for an inexpensive one night stay in the Hahn airport area?
