I am planning a trip to Toulouse as part of a 3 week France adventure. The primary reason for my trip down to Toulouse is to visit the Airbus factory but I am having trouble getting tickets.
There seems to be limited availability on the site for September tours. (tours on 3 days only) I work in wholesale travel and have contacted some contacts I have at the French Tourist Board here in Australia and they think maybe they are only released closer to collection (possibly like train tickets 90 days prior). July is showing availability on 10 times as many days.
Can anyone clarify this or been in the same situation? I have contacted the operator and local tourist office but they were no help. I do not want to book accommodation/train if I can't get tickets.
Any one know about this?
3 days and 4 nights in Paris. I am going with my boyfriend, we are under 25, want to see the main attractions but also we do not want to be on a strict schedule so it is more relaxing. Can anyone help with a rough itinerary?? I am finding it hard to know what things are in the same area!
Thanks!
We want to stay for a few nights at a camp site nr Vernon or Evreux , leave the car at the camp site and travel into Paris on the train and stay overnight. Can anyone recommend a good camp site with easy access to a station. We need to be happy that the car and caravan will be secure if we are leaving them unattended for the night. We have looked at Les Andelys but not sure how easy it would be to get too and from the station without the car. Any advice gratefully received.
Our ship will be docking in Toulon, France early December. I am thinking Aix en Provence is probably the best choice. Does anyone know of good shore excursion companies? I would really like to tour a perfumerie or lavender field, but I don't think lavender is in season that time of year :(
Is there a shuttle, bus, or train from Grand Camp to Mont St Michel
I want to see the sites, of course, without looking like a complete tourist, but in comfort. Will be staying in and around the city. What will work in this season? One suitcase.
Satying just outside (20km) of Bordeaux for 5 days in June. We have a hire car to get round as we are travelling with our one year old and my Mum. The plan is to visit some vineyards and local town like St. Emillion. We do plan to drive into Bordeaux for a day and also perhaps one evening for dinner. Question is parking, I'm sure plenty of you have parked in Bordeaux so I'm looking for most convenient place close enough to the city centre. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
I'm a Singaporean in France for a holiday. I understand we have visa waiver but that's only up to 90 days. How can I extend my visa here without flying back to Singapore? I'm mostly staying in Paris. Please help as I'd love to travel more in Europe! Not enough time!
what sports is there in marsielle
I will be visiting Strasbourg at the end of June. Can you recommend a shop where I can buy fabric by the metre?
What is best thing to do with children in their teens
My aunt has some time between trains at Lille and wants to explore the town. Is there a left-luggage service at either of the stations?
Hi, I will be heading to either Colmar or Strasbourg on the 30th of Dec from Munich and spending two nights there. I will be going to Paris on the 1st of Jan. Would it be possible to visit both Strasbourg and Colmar in this time. For example, could I base myself in Strasbourg but also add a visit to Colmar since it's a short train ride? Or would I be better off choosing one over the other? I know that I won't be able to see everything I want in such a short amount of time, but I am having great difficulty deciding which place to go!
I'd like to see the Christmas markets and of course the lovely wooden architecture (as the major priorities) and all other sites as a bonus in the short time I will be there. I enjoy good food and taking in the sights. I will be traveling with my partner.
What pier does Viking use in Ruan?
Does anyone know where the Viking cruise ships tie up in Ruan, France?
Hello!
Id like to walk the famous gr20 track but I probably wont be able to spend 15 days for walking so I have to decide which part of it to take, northen or southen. I was thinking of walking the northen part from Calenzana to Vizzavona.
1. Has anyone taken it? How was it? Difficoulty in a scale from 1 to 10 where 1 is a walk on a beach and 10 is the hardest track one can imagine?
2. How many refuges were there? Can you camp on the track?
3. What about food? Is it best to take lyophilisated food or can you buy some food in small villages on the track
4. Im planning to go there in september, is it a good time?
5. How to get there the cheapest way? Plane/ferry/car/train? (excluding hitchhiking)
Thanks for your help! :)
Thanks all for getting my last Torcy question as the first listing in Google. I now need to get from coach park Bercy to coach park Torcy, s'il vous plait
Hi, I will be flying in to Paris Charles de Gaulle (Terminal 2B) and have to catch the TGV to Arras.
Is there a train station close to terminal 2?
Can I go direct to Arras from the airport or do I have to go into Parris and catch another train?
Thank you in advance

Hello there,
My husband is going to Villarceaux for a week. I would love to go with him, but other than the castle and grounds, I'm not sure that there is enough to keep me busy while he works. I'm afraid that it's isolated.
Any thoughts?
Hello,
Wondering if anyone can recommend inexpensive hostels/hotels in Paris that don't charge you if you cancel your reservations way in advance of your scheduled arrival (by way in advance, I mean cancelling about one month before your reserved date).
Thank you in advance!
H! I hope you are all well! I will be in Biarritz for a weekend at the end of August (Friday the 23rd & Saturday the 24th)
I will be travelling with a friend of mine. We are looking for 2 single rooms in a hotel or apartment as near to the beach as possible.
I have looked up accomodation and found places booked out or very expensive...
Can you recommend anywhere?
We will have a rental car, so can travel to stay in a nice place!
I appreciate your advice!
Dave.
Hi all,
We are going on a driving tour of Luberon and will have 6 full days to spend in this area. Our cottage is booked, car from UK booked and I wanted to take your advice regarding the itinerary. Please comment. I have tried to include a variety of places so we dont end up visiting just hill top villages. We will be staying in St Remy De Provence.
Day 1 (Sunday) -L'isle Sur La Sorgue market by 9.30 AM, Fontaine De Vacluse and lunch. Afternoon St Remy and Glanum. Les Baux in the evening.
Day 2: Gordes and the abbey, Rousillon
Day 3 - Avignon and Pont Du Gard
Day 4 - Arles and Camargue park
Day 5 - Calanques at Cassis
Day 6 - Bonnieux and any other place that catches our fancy
DOes this sound like we are doing little ?
I know its too early for lavendar blooms. But I did read about poppy fields. Where would be the best place to photograph some?
Thanks in advance for your suggestions
