Hi Can anybody suggest child friendly campsites in this area - ideally lakeside and/pool but NO kids club style places. More relaxed atmosphere for us!! Thanks

Here's our favorite campground in the Languedoc-Roussillon area. http://www.auberge-lecathare.com/ The campground is on a lake and it's real camping, not a resort-type place. There is plenty to do and the family in the adjoining auberge has a restaurant that is one of our all-time favorites. Madame Casanav has won prizes for her cassoulet and deservedly so. It is warm and wonderful. The location is great for visiting Carcassonne, Narbonne, Collioure (long day trip), the Pyrenees, the Canal du Midi and lots of other things. It's a beautiful area. We've camped there and stayed in the auberge. Both are terrific. Enjoy your trip to a favorite part of France.
