There is an old white building south of Fort Scott that I've always wanted to figure out the history on. It looks like an old school house or church and sits on the corner of the intersection at Fern Rd maybe? I just drive by it all the time. Does anyone know where to find this information?
I'm not sure of the building, since I have never been there, bu there is a website of old historic buildings for sale thaat you might try. It's called historicproperties.com. Otherwise, try the courthouse for info. If you know the name of the county, add.gov to the end of the county, state name. They may have a history link on the front page, that will redirect you to their history department. Also, the state may have a listing for the building, as well as the local newspaper. Good luck!

It is an old school. I do not know much more. I'll ask a few local historians and if they know anyting I will post it for you. Randy
