Traffic in Ft Myers Beach

Iam going to Fort Myers Beach the last week of March. How bad will the traffic be? How long will it take me to get on/off the island? Ill be staying on the south end -would it make sense to come in and leave from the south? Any info will be greatly appreciated

    there is no traffic to worry about in fort myers beach. although it is a narrow strip, there is no congestion. you can also see sanibel island, drive to naples, florida. this is a nice beach with nice walks or biking on the beach. it is laid back. there are a lot of german tourists. all in all a great place to go. hotels are reasonable.
