We will be coming to Fort L. in January to get on a cruise ship. Since we live in Mexico we would like to be able to do some shopping in the US after the cruise. We would like to find a inexpensive motel near a shopping center,Wal-Mart,Sam's, Costco or other large stores or shopping centers. We think that we would be better finding a motel near shopping places and just catch a taxi to the dock rather than finding a place close to the dock. We would appreciate any suggestions.
