i want to make a drive from SoCal to Fort Collins from feb.21-25. what will the roads be like? i have a honda del sol or honda civic to drive. thanks!
I was reading all about Horsetooth Res and the water sports access sounds great, but is there a place nearby that you can ride ATV's? Perhaps a rental place as well?
All right, I have heard a few rumors from CNN, but I would like the real story. I currently live in beautiful So Cal, and I find that due to family situations we need to be closer to Oklahoma-- not in Oklahoma you understand, just closer. In any case, we have 3 kids, ages 12,10 and 7. Want to see how the schools are, how the community is, how the cost of living is. Seems like it is much lower than I am used to, but just checking. Also have looked into CO Springs -- didnt see the wonders that everyone talks about there. Perhaps I just missed it?
We are traveling to Fort Collins, CO in December. We'll be there about 5 days. Any suggestions on where to see? Where to eat? Good and/or bad sides of town? We are trying to decide whether or not to move there from California. We are also bringing our golden retriever... any suggestions for which hotels accept dogs? Thanks for any help!
Hi all, I'm working on an extended contract in Fort Collins. I'm hoping to get some skiing in over the weekend. The company I'm working for handles all my travel arrangements. The car they have rented for me is a Ford Mustang. My question is will I have trouble with this car in the snow? I don't have much experience in snow conditions. The local weather is not telling me too much about road conditions. Last question... Anybody interested in a day of skiing on me? You drive I'll pay! Mark
