Hi everyone Me and my girlfriend are desperate to watch the England 2012 football matches. First one is Monday morning, 9am Arizona time. We'll be in Flagstaff or maybe further north around the Grand Canyon. Any suggestions as to where we could watch the games? Yelp and Google are proving fruitless. Cheers

Always a challenge for our European visitors! :O) Not sure this is helpful but many Irish pubs carry this type of programing so are your best bet. I see that Collins Irish Pub in Flagstaff boasts 30 TVs, and another gentleman has asked the same question as yours on their FB page: facebook.com/pages/Collins-I... If you are a FB members, you might try asking ti again or just keeping an eye on the page for a response, positive or negative, to his question. I looked at their website for an email contact but couldn't find one. Will keep digging....

I've been to Collins Irish Pub and that would be my first guess. They actually get a number of Europeans in there. Beaver Street Brewery down the street also has a few TVs in their bar area, but I don't know that they would necessarily have the channel showing a particular game, but they've been open to changing the channel for me in the past when I've asked. FOX Soccer is the one that usually carries games, and I've started seeing it available at more and more places. Looks like it's also going to be on ESPN 2 and ESPN 3, so it partially depends on the particular games you're looking for. Realize that they'll be on at really odd times of the day. But at the Grand Canyon? No, you'll be out of luck. Best you can do is watch updates on your laptop.

Hi everyone. Thanks for your advice. I really appreciate it. I'm in Flagstaff now and went into Collins & Maloney's on LeRoux. Both seemed to have ESPN (which is showing all the matches). Unfortunately, neither open until 11am. Fine for the Ireland match tomorrow but not for England on Monday. But after a little walk around, we found Cafe Pickles on San Francisco which said they do have ESPN AND open at 8am. Success. We're going tomorrow at 8am to watch the Spain game (we really do like soccer/football) so hopefully, it'll all work out for Monday. Thanks again
