Hi All, I am visiting oludeniz in early June and was planning to take a dolmus to reach there from Fethiye. Can someone please tell me, 1) Is it possible to trave in Dolmus with luggage? 2) Are dolmus stop and main Fthiye otogar at the same location? If, not how far are they and how to reach dolmus stop from main otogar? 3) I am planning to book bus for my further journey to Goreme upon arrival at Fethiye. So wanted to know will I be able to find all the main bus company offices at the Otogar. Also, which all companies run on Fethiye-Goreme route? So far I have only managed to find Metro. Does the activity take place at a specific time of the day or does it happen throughout the day? 3.How long does it take to visit butterfly valley and come back to Oludeniz? Is there any entry fee for butterfly valley? How much does the one way boat ride cost from Oludeniz? 4.What are the accommodation facilities at butterfly valley? Hi,this will be my 4th trip to Turkey however the first time in Calis. We would like to go to a turkish night, however we have been to the Kervansaray twice so no wish to do the trip. We are looking to see if anybody can suggest if there are any hotels / restaurants in Calis that do a good turkish night. Hi Everyone, I need to find out how to get from the Fethyie Port to the blue Lagoon in Oludenise. I am staying at Turk hotel. I am to understand that there a lot of minibuses that go that direction daily but where exactly do i have to wait for them. Do I have to go all the way to the bus station "Otogar".If not can someone give me a intersection and rough directions how to get there. Thank you in advance Evis

Hi!Hope you can give us some help with info. We will arive to Fethiye next month and we are trying to find out how to get to and from airport Dalaman-Fethyie. We will arrive at Dalaman Airport around 10 o'clock in the night, is there any bus to get to city centre of Fethiye? And for our departure, we will need to get from Fethiye to Dalaman airport in the morning, around 6 o'clock, are there any buses so early ? Our hotel (yonca lodge) is located pretty far from the city center of Fethyie, are there regular buses operating so we can come to city center when we want during the day/night? Tessekurler

Hi all I am staying in Fethiye for four days and Oludinez for four days. During that time, I wanted to hike to Faralya and see the butterfly valley. I also wanted to climb down it. I heard mixed reviews online about it being too difficult/dangerous and some saying it's manageable. If I had limited backage consisting mostly of water and snacks and were to try to hike down with myself and another 27 year old female, both of us skinny and fairly athletic, would this be that much of a challenge? I heard that you need to know how to mountaineer, that some parts require use of a rope... how much of this is accurate?

Plan to stay in Fethiye for 3 nightd as a base for my visit in this area. Is it a good idea or Oludeniz a better idea? Any good trekking area nearby ?

Plan to visit fethiye but undecided where to go. Heard about Saklikent canyon,, is it worth visitng and how can i get there and do we need a guide ? Also plan to do trekking in Fethiye or Antalya, any recommendations? Thanks. BT

Hi, We are an American family of 4 (2 adults, 2 kids, ages 9 and 4) traveling to Turkey in early June. After Istanbul and Cappadocia, we're taking an overnight bus south (probably to Fethiye), to explore the coast, hopefully on a 3 night blue cruise, traveling east to west, as our next destination is Pamukkale. Can anyone recommend a good boating company for us? We decided against the Olympos-Fethiye route because we heard it was more popular with younger, party-ing crowds and we're looking for a more relaxing cruise. Since there's just the 4 of us, I imagine it's too expensive to charter our own boat and would need a cabin charter, unless there are smaller boats that might work for us? Many thanks!

I ma new to this forum. We've planned a 14 day holiday in Fethiye in August 2010 with a group of 9 people. We are flying into Antalya & we need some recommended car hire companies please. We would want to hire a minibus that would accomodate all 9 of us plus luggage. Also, does anyone know where the country villas in Kemer, Fethiye are located. If so, please could you advise if there are any supermarkets, markets & restaurants near by and also what the area is like & anything else that would be of help to us. Many thanks
