Hi, could anybody tell me the price of a large beer and what is the average price of a meal for two. Many thanks, Glenda

Depends on the bar. We were there two weeks ago.we paid 2 or 3 TL. Same as for a meal. Menus in english are made for tourists, and they start from 20 TL pp. We did visit a Turkish restaurant, very clean, very nice, close to the harbour. There was a menu at the door, only in Turkish.it was 9,5 TL pp included: starter, salad, main course, water, and a coffee with sweets. 19 TL for 2 ppl.Only one waiter did understand some english but was very friendly. You can also go to the fish market. There are several restaurants. You buy your fresh fish at the market go to a restaurant and they cook a meal for 6 TL with your fish (bread, salad included).

prices can be change up to places. mostly starts from 3 usd By the way; 9,5 Turkish Liras for a real meal.... i would say very cheap....
