We are being picked up by a tour company in Tangier and taken to Fez, where we will spend the night. Can you tell me how long it takes to do the trip from Tangir to Fes by road? And should we then spend an extra day in Fes?

It is 303km from Tangier to Fes, It should take no longer than 4 hours, Fes is worth at least 2 days, You will find plenty to occupy your time.
